Full course description
Over the next two years, the Customizable Teaching Modules project group will develop a series of customizable Canvas modules that will provide new and existing JHU instructors, including teaching assistants, with essential information about teaching. The project group is comprised of teaching and learning representatives from the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation, the School for Advanced International Studies, the School of Education, the JHU Teaching Academy, and the Provost’s Leadership, Advancement, and Development (L.A.D.) Academy.
Designed for online, asynchronous delivery, the modules will reside in Canvas Commons, the shared repository of Canvas assets that ensures availability across the JHU community. Each module will be designed to allow for customization to align with respective missions, practices, and policies at the divisional, departmental, or program level.
Please enroll in the Customizable Teaching Modules Showcase to access the modules as a student.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to teachingacademy@jhu.edu or a member of the teaching modules project team.
